WeChow is a South African service platform that connects food enthusiasts with a range of restaurant and home-industry options. The service presents multiple cuisines and aims to provide convenient access to quality food, with distinct sections for Home Industry and Restaurants to broaden ordering options.

• Platform scope and structure: The interface is designed to be simple and localized, prioritizing ease of use. Users can navigate to either the Home Industry or Restaurant sections from the home screen to locate desired suppliers.

• Search and discovery: If the user knows what they want, they can enter a menu item or dish into a search field to reveal available options in their area. Providing the location explicitly or enabling GPS is recommended for more precise results. The system also supports filtering by cuisines to refine choices.

• Ordering workflow: After selecting a dish from a chosen supplier, users specify quantity and any customizations before adding items to the cart. When orders are finalized, the platform facilitates the submission to the supplier and prompts mobile verification via SMS, selection of delivery mode, and entry of the delivery address prior to placing the order.

• Updates and communication: Users receive SMS updates as orders are processed, helping to keep them informed throughout the fulfillment cycle.

• Feedback and improvement: The WeChow team and its suppliers appear committed to ongoing improvement and welcome subscriber feedback to identify areas for enhancement and ensure a smoother experience in future interactions.

• Privacy and security: The platform requests certain personal information to provide a quality experience. Subscriber data is described as being kept secure and is shared with suppliers on a need-to-know basis only.

• Payments: Currently, WeChow offers Cash on Delivery or Pick-up (CoDP). A credit/debit card payment option is planned for future support.
